The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for validating vendor-neutral skills expected of an entry-level computer technician. The A + Certification track is for students who want to understand computer hardware and software. This certification is an excellent starting point for individuals seeking a career in the IT industry.
By earning the A+ Certification, you demonstrate the knowledge and skills that are essential to working as a successful computer support technician. Having an A+ certification proves that you have a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
As with all CompTIA certifications, the A+ certification does not expire. Exam Requirements: A+ Candidates are required to pass the following two exams to achieve the A+ certification.
