The Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification is a mid to high-level certification for individuals with an advanced knowledge of network design. With a CCDP, a network professional can design routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services, applying modular design practices and making sure the whole solution responds optimally to the business and technical needs and is designed to be highly available.
The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and the CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) certifications are prerequisites for the CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional) certification.
The CCDP certification is valid for three years, during which the candidate must re-certify by passing a current composite exam. Exam Requirements To gain the CCNP certification you have the choice of passing a set of three exams or a set of two exams.

642-801 BSCI Building Scaleable Cisco Internetworks 642-811 BSMSN Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks 642-871 Designing Cisco Network Architectures
The two-exam set includes the following exams:
642-891 Composite This is a combination of 642-801 and 642-811 642-871 Designing Cisco Network Architectures
